

We will build bespoke wagons from 7 1/4" narrow gauge types up to 15" from steel ballast wagon to this delightful 10 1/4" guards van. This wagon was designed for the purpose of carrying a number of small children on a private line.

The wagon included a side sliding door ,bench seat which could also be used for storage

This all steel ballast wagon was built for our Berkeley railway and doubles as a luggage truck and pushchair wagon for passengers wishing to alight at stations. This wagon can carry over 1/4 of a ton of stone ,sand or other material ,and is essential in the building and maintenance of your railway. Available in a range of gauges.
10 1/4" GAUGE BOGIE WAGON.

We recently built two N.E bogie wagons in 10 1/4" gauge. Here you can see the the frame work and chassis under construction.

The spec for these wagons were to include re-movable bodies so the customer could use them as flat wagons. Hand brakes were fitted to both and hardwood scale boarding specially made.

This is the first of the two wagons looking resplendent in the bauxite livery and hand painted lettering. Although these wagons are in 10 1/4 gauge we can also build them in 7 1/4 gauge.

Here we see the last of the five ex oakhill Manor Railway 10 1/4" gauge carriages undergoing restoration. The carriages were commissioned by the late Walter Harper from Cromar White`s back in the 1970s for his new railway. The carriage needed a lot of preparation work prior to painting and is shown sanded back ready for undercoating.

The inside passenger compartment with the new upholstery fitted. The carriage is accessed by small doors in the sides.
